Our heroine is a would-be surfing champ who nearly drowned three years ago. Now, she wants to get back on top by winning Hawaii's most prestigious surfing competition. However, this means riding really big waves, and her confidence is faltering. Throw in a new distracting boyfriend, and a rebellious younger sister, and it's up to her buddies to talk some sense into her... The film features some great surfing shots, and has been described as ''Coyote Ugly'' on surfboards.
