Our heroine in this dark comedy is a 30-year-old woman, trapped in a dead-end job and equally dead-end marriage. One day, a young man joins the staff at the store where she works, and soon, they are having lunchtime trysts. She sees these as a release from the ''prison'' of her life. However, as she gets to know the youngster better, she realises that he is not entirely mentally healthy, and that she is now in a different sort of prison...
