Insomnia
This twisty crime drama is set in Alaska, during a time when the sun
is permanently in the sky. Two Los Angeles police detectives
arrive to help the locals with the brutal murder of a schoolgirl.
They are also avoiding an Internal Affairs investigation back home. They
have a suspect, and set a trap. However, in the mist, things go
wrong, and one cop accidently shoots the other. This would not have
been such a problem if the shot cop had not been planning on assisting
Internal Affairs. The surviving cop covers up his crime, blaming it
on their suspect. However, the suspect knows what actually happened, and
suggests to the cop that they instead frame the dead girl's boyfriend for her
murder. Things are further complicated by the local policewoman who is assisting
