Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood

The chick-flick takes a look at mother-daughter relationships and lifelong friendships between women. The story spans six decades, starting when four young girls form a bond of friendship. Years later, one of them has a problem with her daughter, and the other three rally around, kidnapping the daughter to take her back to her mother's roots, and show her what things were like back then, in the process deepening the bond between mother and daughter.
