Based on a graphic novel, itself based on a series of Japanese Samurai movies, this gangster epic is set in Chicago, around 1931. Our ''hero'' is the leading hitman for the local crime boss. They have a very close relationship, something which the boss's own son cannot take. One day, when the hitman is out on a job, the boss's son kills the hitman's wife and youngest son. Soon, the hitman and his remaining son are on the road, seeking revenge. Not to be deterred, the crime boss hires another hitman to take care this little problem...
