This film is based on a true story about a middle-aged man who finally got to pitch for one of the Major baseball teams in the US. A science teacher and baseball coach makes a deal with his team: if they win the championship, he'll try out for the Majors. An old injury, now healed, had cut short his previous career. Naturally, his team performs and soon he is heading for the big time...
