The Affair of the Necklace

Based on what is claimed to be the real reason for the French Revolution, this historical drama follows the adventures of a young woman trying to regain control of her home. After being stripped of her nobility, our heroine tried to plead her case with Marie Antoinette, without success. Determined to win at all costs, she then hatched a devious plan to bring down a corrupt cardinal, Marie Antoinette and, by extension, the whole court.
