Her activities first ruin her sister's upcoming marriage, then her friend's mom thinks they are lesbians, and there is competition for the love interest. Ian Douglas: Well, it's not Bridgit Jones, but I enjoyed this more than East is East. This time it is the Sikh community which is ripped off, serving as a backdrop to a teen romantic comedy. Teenagers should enjoy it, they should drag their parents along as well if possible, for a look at the problems in a multicultural society not all that different from our own. A feel-good girlie movie. There is not much humour in the first half, but it picks up after half time.
