Star Wars: Episode 2 - Attack of the Clones
This episode is set about 10 years after episode 1. Anakin is
now a young man, and initially has to play bodyguard to Senator
Amidala. When they realise that there is more going on than just
a plot to kill her, he escorts her back home while Obi-Wan Kenobi
investigates. Soon, they are all involved in trying to stop
an armed insurrection, while romance between the two youngsters
blooms...142 minutes, Parental Guidance (Violence). Action, Romance. You can usually find additional (copyrighted) pictures, trailers, etc, on the Official Site. |

Ian Douglas: Okay, so I will probably be crucified for these comments, but at least they are honest and not politically correct.
This was the first Star Wars movie I have seen (am currentl watching Episode 1 on TV), and quite frankly, I can't see what the
fuss is all about. Episode II had some good bits -- mainly, the made-for-videogame action and chase sequences. It had great
special effects. But the storyline itself was confused with a huge gaping hole in the plot. The dialogue made Titantic look good.
And as for the art direction, it was the most confused thing I have seen since "Titus" -- a
curious mishmash of agricultural squatters and space-age high tech. The film also loses points for trying to rip off Gladiator
with an arena scene. I know there are many Star Wars fans out there who will now proceed to tell me just how wrong and clueless
I am....
