This shot-with-real-actors-then-painted-into-animation film consists mostly of monologues and dialogues about the nature of life and dreaming, and where the one ends and the other begins. The main character meets a non-stop assortment of people who spout off their opinions on the topic, jumping right in without even any introductory remarks. The overseas critics were impressed.
