This large ensemble comedy revolves around a loser journalist and a nuclear device which looks like a vacuum cleaner, except for the red time which counts down to zero as the movie progresses. The plot is complicated by the huge assortment of characters that cross paths repeatedly with each other and the bomb, resulting in unexpected humour as they all try to come out on top. Reviews have been mixed.
Ian Douglas: Okay, this is not the world's greatest comedy, but I've seen worse. It does deliver a consistent stream of laughs
if you have the right kind of sense of humour. A pleasant diversion.
