Looks like another storm threatening the village...
After a slacker newspaperman loses his cheating wife, he recovers his daughter from the adoption agency his wife had sold her to, and moves to Newfoundland with his aunt. He manages to get a job at the local newspaper, which reveals a talent he did not know he had. He also spends a lot of time with a widow who shared a similar past to his. There is no real beginning-middle-end type storyline, more a look at how people react and adapt to the problems life throws at them. The scenery is spectacular, too.
