The Time Machine
A remake of H.G. Wells' classic novel, this version kicks off about
100 years ago in New York. Our hero is an inventor, engaged to be
married. Then his lady is killed, and he decides to build a time machine
to go back into the past and change things. Unfortunately he
eventually ends up 800 000 years into the future, when life on
earth has evolved into two species: gentle people living above the
earth, and vicious monsters below the earth. After a cute young woman
helps him, he decides to help them deal with the monsters underground.
