Watch closely and the spoon won't bend... but your heart will!
Amélie is a shy young woman working as a waitress in Paris. One day, she discovers a box of trinkets hidden in her apartment, and decides to track down the owner. A spin-off of this is that she ends up doing him a good turn. Inspired by her success, she decides to start helping other people around her, in true Good Samaritan style, using complex and devious schemes to lead them in new directions for their own good. Along the way, she meets a young man, who just may be her soulmate, if they can overcome their individual shyness... The film has received worldwide critical and popular acclaim, and is a true feel-good movie. At the time of writing it is Number 11 on the IMDB's Top 250 Films.
