Our hero is a crack fraud investigator for an insurance company. The company has hired a new female efficiency expert, and he and her do not get along at all, trading insults all day. She actually tries to get him fired. One night, they both end up on stage at a hynotist show, and, under hypnosis, declare their undying love for each other. However, the hynotist has also planted trigger words in their brains, which leads them to commit jewel thefts from their own clients. Naturally they have no recollection of these events, even though they have to investigate the robberies themselves...
