In this digitally animated film, our trio of heroes -- a cranky woolly mammoth, a clueless sloth, and Diego the crafty sabertooth tiger -- embark on a wild journey to return an unexpected passenger -- a lost human baby -- to his 'herd'. The squirrel character pops up continually too.
Ian Douglas: It turned out to be better than I thought it would. The animation style is different to the recent Pixar offerings,
as well as Shrek and Final Fantasy. The artwork is not bad, very clean and bright, but some of the action is pretty jerky. The storyline has some similarities
to Dinosaur, but it packs much more emotional punch.
