Ian Douglas: During and after this film, I was wondering what score I would give, and what I would say. I found the black-and-white
cinematography appropriate and at times stunning and moody. The storyline avoids all clichés and continually surprises. However
it somehow never reaches any great dramatic or emotional heights, at least for me. I think it is worth seeing, especially for art movie lovers.
