A recently widowed man moves into an old house which he inherited, along with his cute family. Soon, their attention is drawn to an unexpected freebie which came along with the house: twelve ghosts are trapped in a contraption in the basement. Before long, the family finds themselves trapped with the ghosts, and make desperate attempts to escape.
