A retired British gangster, living in Spain, is visited by an ex-colleague trying to put together a crack team to break into a top-security bank. Our gangster is retired and politely declines the invitation, but the people he used to work with don't take No for an answer... which in the end leads to an unpredictable conclusion...

Ian Douglas: We stuck this out for about half the movie before leaving. I found the accents difficult to follow, especially in the beginning, and the story seemed to be going nowhere. Some American critics thought it was great, so maybe I missed the point again...
