This spooky tale is set on an island off the coast of England just after World War II. Our heroine, a war widow and her two children, move into a huge, dark house, and are soon joined by three new servants. The children are allergic to sunlight so the house is always kept dark. Soon, the kids start talking about the ''others'' in the house -- mysterious children. Things start to go bump in the night, as the mother tries to get to the bottom of the mystery... Beware the twist in the tale...
