Following the success of Scary Movie, this followup was inevitable. It provides more of the same, with perhaps less penile exploitation than the first. Once again it takes the mickey out of several other films and TV shows, primarily ''The Haunting'', in which a group of ''volunteers'' get to spend the night in a haunted house. Expect a good deal of bawdy, bad-taste humour and few scares.

Ian Douglas: Short version: not as good as the original. The humour is generally in bad taste which appeals to some people, but not to me, and I found this to be mostly Silly rather than Scary.
Jaco van der Merwe (32: A vulgar and tasteless film devoid of any humour. In the 30 minutes that I could bear to watch, I didn't even crack a smile once. And the only horror is in realising that someone, somewhere thought this is a good idea. Avoid at all costs.
