The hotel in question is in Los Angeles, where it is occupied by an assortment of crazies, losers, drug addicts and other rejects. The action kicks off when an aspiring artist dies in the hotel, and he turns out to be the son of a billionaire. Enter the cop, partially crippled and doggedly determined to crack the case, whose manner succeeds in aggravating most of the residents in the hotel. There is also a parallel love story to confuse things up a bit more.
