A professional thief, busy on an ''easy'' job, is surprised by the rich tenant, who turns the tables on him, even taking the ring our thief's new girlfriend had given him. Determined not to let things stay that way, the thief never gives up trying to get that ring back, while the rich man refuses to part with it, as his fortune evaporates.
