Our hero is abandoned by his parents as a child, and has to make his own way in the world. Due to a birth problem he has a weird wig attached to his skull, which causes its own share of problems. His life-long mission is to track down his parents, even though he doesn't know what his own surname is. One day, he gets to tell his story on the radio, which turns him into a national celebrity as he recounts the bizarre episodes which make up his life.
