An accident-prone Italian housewife hits her mid-life crisis when she is accidentally left behind at a service station while on a holiday tour with her family. She decides to hitchhike back home on her own and en route decides that it would be fun to travel to Venice, as she has always wanted to visit that city. On an impulse, she gets a job in a flower shop and starts a new life for herself. However, her idyllic existence in Venice lasts only a short time before she is drawn back to her family loyalties, in spite of the new romance in her life. Italian with English subtitles.
