An animated treat for all ages. Our hero is a big green ogre,
living happily in his swamp, minding his own business. The
local landlord decides to evict all the fairytale characters
from his lands, and dump them in the ogre's swamp, causing
unbearable stress for the ogre. So, together with a donkey
who has decided to make the ogre his best friend, our hero
makes a deal: he will get his swamp back after he rescues
a young woman from a castle, where she is guarded by a dragon.

Ian Douglas: Ground-breaking animation and a delicious twist in the tale make this a family treat.
Dion Scher (27): What a brilliant movie, full of satire and humourous comedy, a treat for all ages. The graphics hit new heights in their realism. The story is well told and the characters lovable. A must see unless you hate animation, in which case my sympathies.
Francois van Vuuren (23): Excellent for both young and old. Definetley one of the better animated movies. Only drawback is the running time. Nonetheless a very interesting and nice "popcorn" movie.
Herman v Nokeyman (22): Brilliant animation and even more brilliant humour. Better than a romantic comedy !
Craig Nicholson (24): Excellent animation - better than Disney at least. Very humourous appealing to people in their 20's.
Jaco van der Merwe (32): One of the best movies of the year. An extremely clever and funny script with an hilarious characterization by Eddie Murphy. What a joy to watch! |
