Into the Arms of Strangers
This year's Oscar-winning documentary takes a look at a remarkable rescue program in which 10,000 Jewish
and other children from Eastern Europe were transported to new homes in Britain, in the period leading up to World War II.
The film examines the impact that this had on the children, most of whom never again saw the families they left behind.
