A talented young programmer decides to join a large software company, against the wishes of his buddies. He was hired to complete an ambitious new communications project with a very tight deadline. As the deadline draws closer, the tally of dead programmers from other firms grows, their work somehow finding its way to our hero. When his buddy becomes a victim, he smells a rat masquerading as his boss, and starts investigating, aided by a pretty co-worker.
