Set some time in the future, Mankind is busy with plans to migrate to Mars, as Earth is becoming uninhabitable. A project to change the atmosphere of Mars to make it breathable was under way. However, something went wrong, and a rescue mission heads for Mars to sort out the problem. When they get there, things are not as they are supposed to be. Throw in an intelligent robot that goes murderous, and the scene is set for a tense thriller.
Ian Douglas: This film has been generally slated by the critics. It suffers from ''me-too-itis'', as it is just too similar to other recent releases, especially Mission to Mars and Pitch Black. In the end, it is just another ''guess who dies next, and how'' thriller set in outer space.
