Set in Hong Kong in 1962, a secretary and her neighbour, an editor, discover that their respective spouses are having an affair. As they ponder and then begin to re-enact how this could have happened, they find themselves drawn much closer together than they thought possible, while still remaining faithful to their wedding vows.
