Is this the bit where I am exposed as a hypocrite?
A piercing examination of the illegal drug trade in the USA, the issues are highlighted by four interwoven story lines. From the Mexican cops battling drugs and corruption, the US politician with a druggie daughter, to the cops protecting a dealer for court, and another dealer's wife who takes over his work when he is caught. The film has been praised and condemned by both sides in the drug trade, which usually means it is both fair and accurate. It has also been nominated for several awards.
