A young man is about to propose to his girlfriend when he discovers that the correct protocol would be to ask her father for permission first. Luckily, girlfriend's sister is getting married so the lovers head to her house to attend the wedding and meet the parents. And that is when things start going wrong, as our hapless suitor lurches from one disaster to another, reducing his chances of marriage at every turn.
Ian Douglas: Some American critics slated this as unfunny, I found it very funny. One can't help feeling sorry for the poor schmuck as he lurches from one disaster to another.
