As per the title, this film is about love and basketball, specifically, the on-off relationship between a guy and a girl, childhood friends and basketball players both. We follow them from about age 9 to adulthood, as they both try to prove themselves and slowly come to realise the love between them, hidden as it is beneath the competiveness. Along the way, we take a look at the double standards prevalent in the world's attitude to male and female sports stars.

Aisha Taylor (17): This was a very positive and beautiful black love story. We don't have many of those these days and it was good to see one portrayed in such a flawless manner. Big ups to Gina Prince-Bythwood because when it comes on video I'm going to buy it and watch it every day!
