An alien man is sent to Earth to start the alien takeover, by impregnating an Earth woman. He has only theoretical knowledge of women, and a mechanical sex organ, which makes things a little difficult for him. He somehow succeeds in marrying a recovering alcoholic, and then the fun begins, as he tries to come to grips with the complexity that is woman.
