This week's biggie, with two Australian actors playing American heroes. Such treason! Our hero, a dedicated family man and war hero, decides to join the American Revolution after watching a loved one die. Realising the folly of fighting conventional warfare against the British Redcoats, he instead sets up a militia unit, which has remarkable success. We follow him and his men through the barbarism of the war, until they manage to turn the tide and rewrite the history books. The film is quite violent and gory at times which may upset sensitive viewers.

Sean Kirkpatrick (32): I have to say that this movie isn't a patch on Braveheart. I will give it very high ratings for its costumes, sets, scenery and battle scenes. The ratings plummet for me when they do all that gushy junk.
