Ian Douglas: I found it interesting, particularly the way that many scenes were filmed just like one of his paintings. Would probably have appreciated it more if I was more familiar with his work. Many paintings sneak in as scenes in the story.
Neill Venter (33): Excellent movie of Rembrandt's life and suffering. The director recreates the mood of Rembrandt's art by making the scenes as dark and heavy as a Rembrandt painting.
