Sleepy Hollow
Set back in Ye Olde America, our hero, investigator Ichabod Crane
arrives in the hamlet of Sleepy Hollow to investigate the claims
of a headless horseman lopping off the locals' heads. A man
of science (kinda), he does not believe in the supernatural
and is ill-equiped to deal with it. Luckily he meets a young
lady who knows a spell or two to help him out.Good special effects, especially the head-chopping bits, but may be a bit gory for some. 111 minutes, No persons under 13 (Violence). Comedy, Mystery, Drama, Horror, Romance, Thriller. You can usually find additional (copyrighted) pictures, trailers, etc, on the Official Site. |

Ian Douglas: Wow. Hollywood has certainly mastered the art of on-screen decapitation. (Not just here, but in "Final Destination" and "Gladiator" too.) Now let's hope they turn their attention to something more pleasant. The story starts off as a science-vs-superstition plot, and one expects science to win, but it loses badly. The film goes so way-out as to be unbelievable, especially as far as the witchcraft-related aspects are concerned. Kinda like "Stigmata", Hollywood goes for special effects instead of logic. I'm sure the teenagers will love it.
Amanda Miller (14): I loved it!!!
