They should have titled this ''The Gilbert and Sullivan Show'', since that is what it is about. The first half is about a squabble between the show musical writers, while the second deals with the solution to that problem, namely their struggle to stage The Mikado. Good performances, but a bit slow if you don't get excited about their music. For those who don't know, Gilbert and Sullivan were the Lloyd-Webber and Rice of the 1800s.
