Based on the true story of American boxer Rubin Carter, who was sent to jail for life for a murder he didn't commit. He never gave up hope, adopting attitudes to his situation to help him break the power of the system over him. He wrote a book about his life, which was picked up by a black teenager staying in Canada. This teenager and the people he was staying with were the catalysts that eventually got Carter his freedom.
Caitlin Costello 14: The movie ''The Hurricane'' is my favorite movie of all times! It has to be the most realistic movie ever made. I got so interested in The Hurricane that I begged my Mum to buy the book for me. I love it! It is a great story and even I can relate to this man very much.
