Stir of Echoes Shades of "The Sixth Sense", unfortunately. A struggling family man gets hypnotised, after which he starts seeing and experiencing weird things. When he discovers that his little son talks to a ghost, things get even weirder, and he starts falling apart as he tries to unravel what is going on. It all works out in the end of course. 97 minutes, No persons under 16 (Violence). Mystery, Drama, Horror, Thriller. Shaun Myburg (21): Now I know I am going to get some flack for saying this, but I felt this movie was better than Sixth Sense.... ok, with that out the way, the movie itself seems to be a cross between the aformentioned film, and a previous Kevin Bacon film called "Flatliners". This one keeps you on the edge of your seat and sometimes takes you off it. Great sets allow you to feel part of this film. Terrific performances by Kevin Bacon, Kevin Dunn, Kathryn Erbe & Illeana Douglas. It won't win any awards, but for pure thrill viewing I would highly recommend it. Andrew Simpson (17):Similar type of horror to the Sixth Sense. Filled with some comedy, drama, romance, thrilling and action scenes the film also has some pretty freaky scenes in it. Well worth watching!
