Oh grammy, oh grammy grammy blue... A documantary based on a group of legendary Cuban musicians. In 1996 Ry Cooder brought together a group of forgotten musicians and singers to record an album that won a Grammy Award.
In this film, we see and hear some of the songs being recorded in Havana.

In addition, many of the individual musicians talk about their lives in Cuba and about how they got started in music.

Ian Douglas: You will either find this documentary fascinating or boring. I left after half an hour due to boredom, another reviewer fell asleep twice. Others found it excellent. I guess it depends on your love for Cuban jazz...
