A mockumentary that captures the events of a small-town beauty pageant. The pageant is a war zone and the soldiers carry makeup kits. An overbearing, civic-minded mother will stop at nothing to ensure that her daughter wins a teen beauty contest. But her daughter has a strong opponent. These girls would do anything be the next home queen.
Ian Douglas: The style reminded me of Strictly Ballroom, but the storyline does not have the same charm. It also climaxes twice, which is unnecessary. The teenagers should enjoy it.
