Ian Douglas: Good acting and direction, but the story doesn't know where it wants to go... Basically, the viewers see no reason to care about the illicit affair. Reminded me of Eyes Wide Shut somehow. The subtext is all about trust in relationships, and thus it will appeal more to older married couples than to teenagers on a date.
Louise McKellar: And why does he pursue that woman relentlessly?
