The Moviesite Fan Club comments

Ian Douglas: I think William may have been on drugs when he wrote this. Or else he was poking fun at something which the people of his era knew about and we don't. The best bit is the play-within-a-play rip-off of Romeo and Juliet at the end. The rest is pretty silly. And yeah, Calista does her Ally routine in Shakespearean language. Pout and all. Nice music though.

Mic Francis: Very good - it seems to have captured what Shakespeare may have had in mind when he wrote it - maybe he wrote the play under duress, so churned out a 'receipe', and showed how silly the play-commander was? Kept the beautiful language, though.

Bruce Humphrey: Enchanting scenery with many well-known actors. It helps a lot if you know the convoluted story by the Bard in advance.
