Ian Douglas: After the success of Notting Hill, one had high hopes for the next Hugh Grant romantic comedy. This one fails to match up. Although there are some very funny bits, they are too few and far between. Andrew Simpson: Better than Notting Hill. Hugh Grant is magnificent playing his usual bumbling self.
