Four unhappy souls are tentatively reaching out to one another. Their small world is threatened by a creature that rips at the bodies of its victims, kangaroos, sheep and ducks. These peoples lives are haunted as much by their own demons as by the unseen predator attacking livestock in the remote and chilly valley where they live.
