The story of gay high schooler, Steven, who is looking for love while trying to survive the pressures of adolescence and is tired of living a lie. However, his life is complicated when he falls in love with one of the school's famous and handsome jocks, John, who turns out to be even more conflicted and closeted than Steven himself. In John, Steven sees own mirror image: a young gay man trying to pass as 'normal', and thereby trying to define himself in self loathing terms gleaned from the omnipresent 'straights' in his life.
