Dr Agaki

Set at the end of the second world war, this is the tale of a remarkable Japanese doctor and his search for a cure for hepatitus. Although ridiculed by many in the camp, he perseveres, aided by some unlikely characters -- a drug-addicted surgeon, a former prostitute and an escaped Dutch prisoner of war.
