Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels A black crime comedy. Four British lads scrape together some money to 'clean up' at a poker game. That plan backfires badly and they end up deep in the red with one week to go. The debt collector is pretty violent, so the desperate boys hatch plan B, to rip off the drug dealers next door, who are planning on ripping off their suppliers. Expect lots of plot twists and implied violence, all done with style. The critical reviews have been mixed, which may be a cultural thing. 105 minutes. Comedy, Crime, Thriller. Karen Mc Nicholas: A bit like Pulp Fiction, but still brill! Isma Manitsa: Most entertaining if you're in a whacky mood. Bonnie Newby: Wickedly entertaining. Francois: It's a mix between 'reservoire dog's' and 'Train spotting'. Clair Wright: I loved it...it's been emotional. Leon Treurnich: British humour applied to the now much copied Tarantino style, with excellent results. Robert Haynes: Not a bad little mix of British sarcasm and nineties flash. Cleverly scripted and edgy performances made this one worthwhile. Michael Saunders: One of the best films ever made. An amazing awesome pumping powerhouse of a movie. English gangsters kick Resevoir Dog's a*ses! Chris Coughlan: Bloody Ripper. Mathew Davies: This film was the best, is the best and the best there ever will be. Superb Geza Berecz: Much-much better than Pulp Fiction! Besides Fight Club was one of the best movies I've seen for years. Henry Chen: This is the best movie ever! All the scenes are well made and it's a perfect cast.
