Patch Adams

Apparently based on the true story of a man who decided to become a doctor later in life, after he was released from a mental hospital. However he sincerely believed that laughter was the best medicine, and did his best to joke around with and amuse his patients, in an effort to heal them. Robin Williams gets up to his usual antics, which is great if you like that sort of stuff and terrible if you don't.
